I got hit with a softball and lips are both bruised and cut?

Is there any way to speed up the healing process? Or just reduce the bruising? It hurts like a b*tch rubbing up against my braces and I was just wondering if there was any way to speed up the healing process.I got hit with a softball and lips are both bruised and cut?
Well, yeah it's bad to have teeth knocked out. I would see a dentist immediately about that.

As for the lips, keep a layer of Bacitricin (check spelling?) on them. It's a zinc supplement (speeds healing) plus an antibacterial to fight infection off. Do this until the cuts are healed.

When they are, and none of them are open at all, you can switch to using plain vaseline. Either way, I'd keep them covered for awhile.

Finally, for the healing of scars and bruises, use vitamin E. Here's what you do:

Buy vitamin E liquid capsules.

Break them open to get all the liquid gel stuff out.

Using a q-tip, apply a thin layer to your lips.

Leave this on all night (while you sleep) because it's shown to speed healing and help with discoloration.

Finally, just know that the scars will take time to heal!
