Me and my girl see each other every 2 weeks, and after we kiss she gets painful pimples on her lips, sometimes for a couple of days.her doc gave her some pills to dry them out,and also said they may originate from something in the stomach.what is all this?Does kissing on the lips cause pimples? why is it that every time me and my girlfriend kiss she gets them?
Kissing would not cause pimples. It sounds like herpes simplex 1 / cold sore. Herpes is a viral infection meaning that it will never leave your system. There is no cure for herpes.
There will just be occasional outbreaks every now and then. The only thing that you can do is get treatment that will reduce the number or reduce the severity of outbreaks. Treatment usually comes in the form of a pill or suave. Remember that herpes is contagious mostly when an outbreak is present. It can easily be contracted by means of kissing or other contact from infected skin.Does kissing on the lips cause pimples? why is it that every time me and my girlfriend kiss she gets them?
You can do many things to avoid:
Wash your mouth with good oral freshner before Kissing
Avoid Kissing on the Lips As you have many other ways to express your love
or last one
Avoid Physical Contacts till she gets Mature.
hi george ,
kissing wont cause pimples that too around lips (could be a rare possibility but i havnt personally ever come across someone or even heard of something like that)pimples do have something to do with the periods ...anyhow if she does have pimples then its a cool situation ...just ask her to go to a good dermatologist for the acne treatment or if ur fine with it bear with it.....but but but my real concern is...herpes!! it could be a possibility that she already knows that she is havin herpes as she would hav definitely consulted the doc n any good physician wont miss it ...and she would have learnt that u can contract it by kissing ...maybe she is afraid that u might leave her or nevr kiss her again and is being a bit mean and not telling u bout it sayin that oh its jus pimples n the story...well she is in an awkward situation too but its the question of ur health ...!! so the best thing that comes to my mind is that if u have even the slightest doubt about the pimples she has(if they dun look like the normal pimples one gets to c) then confront her ...tell her ill come along the next tym u visit the doc ...if she readily agrees mystery solved !...if not then ask her whether she has herpes asssure her dat u wun leave her (in case u love her n intend to support her despite the fact that u wont get to kiss her) n if u intend to leave her then just let her know that ur doin this because she lied to u and she should feel guilty about being mean to u...good luck !...n do get urself tested if u learn that she has herpes ...n dun u repeat wot she did to someone else !!
If they are on her lips, it is probably not a pimple. Get the doctor to run tests.
If it IS a pimple, it could be that you need to wash your face before kissing her, first. As a man, you make more oil than a female would, and her skin might be sensitive to your body oils.
Doesn't sound like herpes or anything though. It could possibly be a yeast infection of the mouth, also called thrush, but I am sure the doctor would have recognized that soon enough. Wash your face with seabreeze before kissing, and rins off really good, and use some soap on your face, too. Be sure to wash your hands, neck, and ears also, because you might be oily in those places, too.
Otherwise, just wait and see what the Dr says.,
Oh- some people carry staphylococcus, also known as a staph infection. Some people can get it from other people, and have very mild symptoms.
Lastly, it could be moustache stubble, so shave really good before you kiss her, or consider waxing, even.
its probably a cold sore...
it will go away. you cant really do anything to prevent that.
It's most likely from stubble on your face that is irritating her skin.
