I have thin lips how can i make them look bigger without resorting to cosmetic surgery?

are there any good products out there?I have thin lips how can i make them look bigger without resorting to cosmetic surgery?
you need to wear lip balm as much as you can during the day at all times, and at night apply ALOT before bed. i dont mean ';chapstick'; or ';lipsmackers'; coz they're not really moisturising, they're just all about smelling good and the cute packaging.

try Carmex, Burts Bees is AMAZING, Palmers CocoaButter Lip Balm, all the Nivea Lip Care lip balms are great too especially Light Kiss. keeping your lips very well moisturised makes them appear alottt fuller. have a lipbalm in your bag, one by your bed, one by ur computer etc. so you have lipbalm on alot of the day, at night try Blistex Intensive Moisuriser.

trust me it really helps im wearin lipbalm constantly an it makes them look moisturised and plumped up

2x a week you need to do this in the morning:

mix olive oil or sunflower oil with sugar in a bowl, put the gritty mixture onto a toothbrush and gently scrub your lips, wash this off and apply lots of lip balm. this exfoliating scrub makes lips healthy.

the best lip plumping gloss i have tried (and ive tried all these: Urban Decay Big Fatty Lip Plumper, the colored Too Faced Lip Injection Glosses, Lip Injection Extreme, Sally Hansen Lip Inflation, Blistex Lip Restore, Rimmel Volume Boost, Dior Addict Collagen Lip Maximiser, Soap%26amp;Glory Sexy Mother Pucker) the best by far is the original Too Faced Lip Injection%26gt;

(although i buy it from ebay as its quite alot cheaper on there)

id also recommend Sally Hansen Thin Lip Collagen Boost as a daily lip care product, its part of my everyday skincare routine, i apply it every night as it moisturises while promoting collagen production in your lips, the more you use it the better the results everyday. its pretty cheap too! i love it

heres what it looks like%26gt;

home made lip plumpers:

theres a few ways to make a succesful lip plumper at home!

you need:

Vaseline-preferably the one in the green tin (with aloevera to moisturise)

Cayenne Pepper (this can be found in your supermarket with the spices)

instead of Cayenne Pepper you can also use Cinnamon or Black Pepper.

if possible pick up a lil bottle of Vitamin E oil from your local health shop, but this isnt necessary, it moisturises really well its great for your skin but if you cant find it dont worry u dont need it to make these lip plumpers.

scoop out a small amount of vaseline (just enough to cover your lips!) onto a plate/bowl.

take a tiny pinch of your chosen spice and mix it well with the vaseline

now put 1 tiny drop of vitamin E (if you have it)

apply this to your lips, carefully making sure you dont go outside the lip line. leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off and apply balm or gloss. your lips will be soo plump and pink it always works!

or add a few drops of Cinnamon oil to your favourite lipgloss!! works so well

make up:

Cover the lips with foundation or concealer, just as one would on the rest of the face. Blend well.

you need a lip liner that is the same neutral shade/slightly darker than your lip, apply the liner carefully in a thin line JUST outside your natural lip line, starting in the middle of the top lip and working out toward each corner.

Line the bottom lip in the same fashion, starting in the middle and working toward the ends, stay close to the natural lip line to keep a realistic appearance. on the bottom lip in the middle, make the lipliner slightly darker (i made this pic so you can see whereabouts on the lip you need to make the line darker) this makes your bottom lip look very plump%26gt;

use a cotton bud or your finger to drag the liner down into your lip,

Use the same liner to completely fill color in the lips, use fingers to blend. Be sure that there are no obvious lines. Blot the liner with tissue if necessary or blend with a finger.now add your gloss, balm, plumping gloss or lipstick

using white/shimmery highlighter apply a very faint dot above your cupids bow, this will give your lips a poutier look and additional dimension

sorry 2 write so much, i just know ALOT about lip health and plumping, im abit obsessed with it! hope it helps ya x

ALSO many people recommend Lip Fusion ($50), but it was compared with Sally Hansen Lip Inflation Extreme (around $5) and sally hansen's had better results (if u read the ingredients they are basicaly the same)

i use the sally hansen lip inflation extreme and love it xI have thin lips how can i make them look bigger without resorting to cosmetic surgery?
Hydration is necessary for achieving plump lips. Drink water as often as you can and carry a good lip balm with SPF with you.

Before you get in the shower, rub a thick layer of petroleum jelly or honey on and around your lips but don't wipe it off in the shower. The steam will help it to penetrate, giving you smooth lips. Wipe off any residue when you're done.

After brushing your teeth, use your toothbrush or a terrycloth towel to exfoliate your lips. This will also temporarily swell them. If your lips are really dry and flaking, then try a layer of Carmex, topped with a layer of petroleum jelly or Aquaphor when you go to sleep at night. You should wake up with soft, flake-free lips.

Invest in a good lip plumper that has MaxiLip or hyaluronic acid as an ingredient rather than an irritant like cinnamon oil (which will be painful and only temporarily swell your lips). Apply it once or twice a day. When applying, open your mouth as wide as possible to get the best effect.

Put gold or silver (depending on your personal coloring) eyeshadow on your Cupid's Bow with a lip brush. It will reflect light and make your upper lip look poutier. You can also put a bit of matte bronzer or neutral, tan eye shadow under your bottom lip for the same effect. Be sure to blend carefully!

After lipstick/gloss, dab more of the gold or silver eyeshadow (or use a frosty gloss) in the center of your top and bottom lips. Make sure to blend it, but not too much.

Only exfoliate your lips once a week, the skin on your lips is much more delicate.

Research lip plumpers before buying. You never know if they'll work as well as they promise.

If your lips are a warm color (reds), use gold eyeshadow.

If your lips are a cool color (pinks), use silver eyeshadow.

Your Cupid's Bow is the 'V' on your top lip.

Surgery is not necessary. The at-home tricks are much simpler and more inexpensive than cosmetic surgery ever will be.

Plumpers may irritate sensitive skin, so look out for ingredients like cinnamon.

Carmex can be addictive! It should only be used if your lips are truly dry, cracked and flaking (or if you have a cold sore) in order to remove the dead skin. If you use it on health, smooth lips, it will dry up the skin.

use a natural lip liner to outline ur lips but dont put it all the way around.. just under neath ur bottom lip at the thickest part (the middle) and the points of ur top lips, blend it in by slwly fading the colour out as u reach the corners, then use a clear lip gloss and get a white shimmer eyeshadow or shimmer lip gloss (sparkly) and dab a little bit at the middle of ur bottom lip (thickest part) and the point of ur top lip.

the shimmer makes it look like the light catches it really nicely to, and ur lips look bigger and u will look great ;)

Blondiexox
LipFusion XL is the most successful lip plumping gloss out right now, and it even comes with the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval (which provides a refund if product is defective).

It works really well so you're gonna pay a bit for it. It's $50 thru their website and at Sephoras. But its cheaper then lip injections!

I've tried Buxom (I got it for free at Sephora). It basically just irritates your lips so more blood goes to them. I don't notice a big difference, but it's a fantastic lip gloss and it lasts a long time.
Um...buy a lip plumper!! They kinda sting....but they do work!!! use lip liner.......scrub your lips......and this works very well!!! : put a dap of lip gloss right in the center of your bottom lip.....bah da bing bah da boom!! instant full lip!!!! hope this helps!
