Why are my gums tingling and my lips sore?

Every since I came to my dad's place I have been sneezing and coughing because of the dust in his apartment. My lips feel sore on my bottom lip and this small spot on my lower gums keeps tingling every so often. My gums don't bleed when I floss or brush and they aren't swollen. My gums look fine and my teeth seem fine as well. Is this an allergic reaction? Please no silly answers.Why are my gums tingling and my lips sore?
