I have had this problem for the last 3 years. My lips turn red, get really dry, and get a red outline. I've tried vaseline and blistex and all sorts of chapsticks but they only work for a little. Is this a disease or something? I really want to get rid of it. I know licking my lips is bad for it, too.How do I get rid of red outlined dry lips And what is it that I have....?

Same thing happens to me. I use vaseline and put it on before I go to bed every night for a week or two. Yeah, dont lick your lips, thats what makes it red. You could probabyl get some over the counter medicine to help it heal.

i'm pretty sure it is, because the stain must have similar ingredients. just don't overdo the stain on your lips, and be careful. don't lick your lips, and just don't ingest it by accident.Is the mac see through cheek stain safe for lips?

any make up with the word ';stain'; in it, is not something you want to use because that's exactly what it does, it stains and if you wear it too often it will leave blotchy stain on your face

Burning sensation in lips due to allergies?
Does anyone know any cure/medication that I can use to get rid of a burning sensation in my lips? This is due to allergies because of the time of year again. I haven't found a chap stick or anything that works, and it's really beginning to hurt. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Burning sensation in lips due to allergies?

If the lip is bright red, dry and burning, use three doses of Sulphur 30.

It cools down that burning and feels good too :) That's the only remedy I use to help with the burning and put on Vaseline on my lips.

I was doing an aspirin mask on my face and some of it got on my lips and when I washed my face off my lips in the part that had the aspirin mask was lighter in color. aspirin masks are dangerous, and they do bleach th skin. most likely it's going to change back to regular color in a couple of weeks, but if not, the change is permanent. see a doctor.
