I brush my lips everyday with my toothbrush to remove the dead skin and yet everytime I wear lipstick or chapstick, it leaves a white film on my lips after I drink something or get it wet. Despite whether it's old or new, it still keeps leaving that film that I need to wipe off with a napkin. I am not really sure what could be causing this, first time I heard something like this, my only suggestion would be not to brush your lips with a toothbrush it might be to abrasive, use a product that formulated to exfoliate the lips and well as moisturizes the lips.

You might want to just moisturize and use Burt Bee's or Vaseline.
Try putting on a chapstick and keep moving your lips like smoothing them together then when its on that last thin layer apply your lipstick see what happens when the chapstick is the base

Kiehls makes an excellent lip balm, and try ';Rescue Cream'; by Bach. It really worked on my friend's baby's dry skin. Vitamin A D %26amp; E lotion is also wonderful or even straight vitamin E oil. The root of the problem might lie in your diet. Try taking fish oil, flaxseed oil, Vitamin E, B vitamins and other supplements that are good for your skin. Check out Dr. Perricone's vitamin diet recommendations. You can find a list in his books. Your skin will thank you for it. Foods like salmon and blueberries do wonders for your skin. If you have redness, try A%26amp;D diaper cream with Aloe. It's got zinc oxide which is also good as a sunscreen. It's amazing at calming redness. Imagine your skin being the way you like it. Just pamper yourself! Also, avoid cleansers for a while. Just rinse your face in water if you need to. After three days, change half of the water again and only feed your goldfish a greatly reduced diet (every other day for a week while your water quality improves). In future, be careful how much you feed your fish.

You should have 10 gallon per fancy goldfish and a filter that move 10 times the gallons in the tank per hour. You should also be doing weekly partial water changes and vacuuming the gravel. here's a good goldfish caresheet.

To keep fish healthy or to help them when they're sick, keeping the water happy is very important.
That sounds like a bacterial infection to me. most likely flexobacter. I'd bring salt up to 3 teaspoons per gallon over 36 hours and also dose the water with kanamycin (an antibiotic). If you can't find kanamycin you can try Jungle fungus clear (it's nitrofurazone which is an antibiotic) or maracyn 1 and maracyn 2.

this definitely sounds like a bacterial infection. it may be another problem on another on another, but for now use melafix, follow the directions. while that is going on, don't even try to ask petstores about anything, they don know crap. try tetra-fish.com, sign up or whatever, and they have a section on fish questions. they are pros and can really help. tell them with excruciating detail what is going on, and at this time tomorrow you will know what is wrong.

do you drink enough water daily? if you don't, that's probably the problem. i am surprised petroleum jelly didn't work for you, it always works for my chapped lips. try putting a lot (and I mean A LOT) of petroleum jelly on your lips right before you sleep, that always works for me. your lips might seem thicker in the morning but that's just the healing process.

Is it possible to chemical burn your lips?
I know it sounds weird and, no, I wasn't drinking chemicals. I was cleaning with some really gnarly bleach cleaners and the fumes were terrible. That's when my lips started to burn like crazy. I really don't think they're chapped, I can't explain it but they haven't felt like this while chapped, ever. I've always wondered why each race has unique features from the neck up. I know that it's genetic, just want to know why these features would be helpful for each race. Oh yea, and why are there different colors of skin, I know it's because of the type of pigment, but why are people white, black, brown, and yellow. For hairstyles if your hair is long, keep volume AWAY from your cheeks. If it's past your chin, this is better. You can do a tapered, wispy affect to create the illusion that your face is longer.
If your hair is short, keep the volume at the TOP of your head. You can do this by teasing your hair at the crown. Try to get lot's of layers up there. Just go to your hairstylest and ask for a more ';shaggy'; look..they'll know what you mean.
Center parting your hair is also ideal for round headshapes whether your hair is long or short.
As far as makeup, try ';contouring'; (I'll post a link underneath)...it's when you take a darker bronzer or even just some brown eyeshadow and you create the illusion of high cheekbones by applying beginning at the hollow space underneath your cheekbones working your way outward and slightly upward to just underneath your temples. Add waves to the bottom of your hair to balance the face and detract attention from bottom of the nose.

ok both corners of my lips have cracked and im not sure why. maybe cause its cold and dry. i have some cream called fucidin that the doctor gave me to treat impetigo/bacterial infections but i don't think its bacteria yet it just cracked and looks almost like cold sores but it isn't...any fast way to get rid of this?What can you do when the skin on the corner of your lips crack?

If your lips are really really really bad, get some Glycerin from the drugstore. It's just a clear liquid. Take very little on your fingers, then work it into your lips. You don't want to lick this, because it tastes really nasty. Wait about 2-3 minutes with Glycerin on your lips, then rinse it off. Don't do this more than once a day. You will get really quick results.
Use Victoria's Secret chapstick.
If you mix orange juice and brown sugar together, that makes a great lip exfoliator. The citrus in the orange juice softens the skin and the sugar helps take the dead skin off. It's great.
Also, you can brush your lips at the same time you brush your teeth. There are also products out there that you can buy to exfoliate.

I am the proud mother of preemie twin girls. They are actually 5 months, but only 2.5 months corrected age. Recently they both have started smacking when they are hungry, even looks sometimes like their licking their lips. They also cry terribly when I take their bottles away to try to burp them. Could this be a sign to start solids? How do you heal your lips overnight?
For some reason my lips like to chap up about once a week or every two weeks. I think its because of not putting any chapstick on from when I go outside and stuff. Is there a way to cure them quickly overnight?
I have chapstick, but its about 2 years old lol, maybe 5 or more lol...
But I also have this other one called Blistex-medicated balm.

Saliva tends to create a thick layer over the lips and causes them to chap once its dried. Chapstick probably wont stay on while you sleep unless you are still the entire night. The best thing is to use a medicated lip balm regularly. And AVOID LICKING YOUR LIPS! If you are without lip balm use water and then immediately dry them. NEVER LICK! I use Aquaphor ointment on my lips(well....everywhere actually!) It heals mine up fast. It doesn't taste great, or have a wonderful smell, (it is almost petroleum jelly-like)but it does work! Use a warm washcloth to gently scrub your lips and then apply the ointment. ;)

hi, i swear by a chapstick called neutrogena which also protects lips from drying as it has spf of 20. Don't use vaseline as it has petroleum and drys your lips, not good.How to keep my lips moisturised?
lip balm from the body shop stays on for a long time, its not sticky and gooey like lip gloss can be and it doesnt not work like some waxy chapsticks are.
before you put that on use lip scuff, its only like 10 bucks, it looks like a lipstick. it is a lip exfoliator. you put it on and rub your lips together for like 2 minutes, it gets rid of all of the dead skin and makes your lips feel unbelivably soft all day. it wont work unless you rub it all the way in or your lips feel sandy.
then put lip balm on and top coat it with a tiny dab of gloss to give it shine.
brushing your lips is actually really bad for the skin! it irratates it and causes it to plump, over doing this may actually take of the skin on the lips and it'll take a long time to heal!

I recently decided to shave all of the hair on my vagina, i would wax but i dont have the money and i dont think i am odl enough. but i love having all the hair gone. hair on the inside of the lips are normal, i have that too and ive asked some of my friends and they said they have it too. i guess everyone gets it. with preventing the razor bumps, im not quite sure. i know they have products that help prevent them. what i do though is i just change my razor a lot, usually if you are using a old razor you are more likely to get bumps, if not then you dont get as many bumps.

You have two sets of lips on your vagina, if the hair is on the inner side of the fatty larger ones surrounding the thinner smaller lips then yes! It is completely normal.
You can shave it but I would suggest using good soap or shaving cream!
You should know that when you shave the hair will appear thicker when it grows back because the thin ends have been shaved off and the thicker stronger roots are left behind to grow out.
You might be getting ingrown hairs. Or razor burn.
Ingrown hairs can be solved by exfoliating (removing dead skin cells) every day. You can do this by using a rough brush or loofa or rough cloth and gently rubbing the skin to remove the dead cells with soap in the shower.
Make sure to moisturize afterward with a VERY gentle lotion or vaseline. You get ingrown hairs when the hair grows out, but it grows into the skin instead of out of the skin.
If you have razor burn you should try switching to a new razor. It sounds scary but a sharp razor will give a cleaner cut to the hair making it easier for it to grow out! Also if its razor burn it can be cured with vaseline. Sounds gross but vaseline is very good for irritated skin, it does not clog pores and is soothing. It's used for diaper rash!

You can shave it but I would suggest using good soap or shaving cream!
You should know that when you shave the hair will appear thicker when it grows back because the thin ends have been shaved off and the thicker stronger roots are left behind to grow out.
You might be getting ingrown hairs. Or razor burn.
Ingrown hairs can be solved by exfoliating (removing dead skin cells) every day. You can do this by using a rough brush or loofa or rough cloth and gently rubbing the skin to remove the dead cells with soap in the shower.
Make sure to moisturize afterward with a VERY gentle lotion or vaseline. You get ingrown hairs when the hair grows out, but it grows into the skin instead of out of the skin.
If you have razor burn you should try switching to a new razor. It sounds scary but a sharp razor will give a cleaner cut to the hair making it easier for it to grow out! Also if its razor burn it can be cured with vaseline. Sounds gross but vaseline is very good for irritated skin, it does not clog pores and is soothing. It's used for diaper rash!

P.S. I just use a bikini line trimmer, its easier to have nicely maintained hair then to have to shave!
