I heard that if you brush your lips with your toothbrush and warm water it will take away all that dry skin. Im wondering if this is true and if it wont hurt my lips. Or is there any other tip to make your lips soft besides using lip conditioning, because sometimes that doesnt work. Can you exfoliate your lips with your toothbrush?
use a soft-bristle brush and do it very gently, and it will be fine! Make sure you moisturize afterwards as with exfoliating any body part! i wouldn't do it more than a couple times a week. Can you exfoliate your lips with your toothbrush?
okay.
items needed:
toothbrush
lip balm
sugar
steps;
1. put lip balm on your lips.
2. put sugar on your lips.
3. wet your toothbrush
4. rub your toothbrush against your lips.
5. do this for four mins.
6. wash it off.
NOW YOUR BUFFED!
I don't see why not as long as your gentle. A better way, however, is to use a wash cloth damp with warm water. Personally, I use brown sugar mixed with honey to gentle exfoliate. It leave you lips really soft and it tastes good too lol.
Use a soft bristle toothbrush and it won't damage your lips
Also a good idea to use a toothbrush that you no longer use to brush your teeth, Don't think I'd like the idea of brushing my teeth and finding gross bits of dry skin on it!
It's true. I've tried it as well. Just not too often. Once a week is good enough. I know Benefit has a Lip Exfoliation set. Could try that instead i suppose. But for a cheap (free) way, tooth brushing is the way to go. Moisturize after doing that.
yeh the toothbrush thing works buy a soft one thought and just put some vaseline on after :)
