How long does it take for a dead body to turn cold and the lips to turn purple/blue?

Just curious, about how many hours would someone have to be dead before their lips turn cold and purple, or does that happen right away?

what about for their body to be cold?

for them to just..FEEL dead?

ty in advance.

It only takes a few minutes for the lips to turn purple because

the blood stops getting oxygen from the lungs. It will only

take a few hours for the body to cool down to room temp. If

death occurs in a hospital or nursing home with a refrigeration

system to receive dead cases, the body will cool down faster

when placed in the ';frig.'; Rigormortis will set in within a few

hours after death and can be massaged out by the mortician

doing the embalming process. Embalming chemistry causes

body tissue to stiffen. And, depending on the ';index number';

of the formalin, the body can be pliable or become hard as

a rock. Body features are ';set'; by the mortician prior to

injection of embalming fluid and massaged into the tissues.How long does it take for a dead body to turn cold and the lips to turn purple/blue?
