I also read one of the answers on this and wanted to try it. It says you put a couple drops of lemon juice and some sugar into a paste and mix them together and then scrub it on your lips. Can I use lime instead? Also, does this work? Is there anything else I can do?How do you remove dead skin from your lips?!?!?
Wet a washcloth with warm water and moisten the area. It should roll off. If the warm water doesn't work try it with a thick/heavy moisturizer. Keep it conditioned with Carmex. It works well and only costs a dollar. How do you remove dead skin from your lips?!?!?
Gently scrubbing your lips with your toothbrush can be good for this as long as the bristles are soft enough and aren't just going to scratch your lips. It's good to work this into your dental regime before or after you brush your teeth. Even just doing it a few times a week makes a big difference! Remember to apply some Vaseline or other lip balm afterwards if you want to keep the moisture locked in.
I would use anything gentle... but you can use a mild exfoliate. I put a eye product one at night after a mild scrub... most citric acid has ... ALA.... look for facial cream with it in it too... dump the citric and sugar to be milder.... dont use before going in sun.
use a toothbrush, wet it, and use it to gently brush dead skin away. it helps even more if you put vaseline on your lips first and leave it for a few minutes before using the toothbrush
when you get a new toothbrush do not throw away your old one, rinse it out let it dry and every time you need to clean your lips you could brush your lips may sure lips are dry and so the toothbrush
i just dampen the corner of a washcloth and rub it on my lips. it makes them plump and soft. i love it and its easy.
U should try putting vaseline on your lips then after bout 2 minutes scrub it off with a wet toothbrush and make sure u wipe it off with a wet wash cloth when your done.
I use Soft Lips and it works great! You can get it at Target for around $3! Or just wear any other lip chap!
I use Satin Lips from Mary Kay. :-) It's excellent.
Pocket knife, but then I'm an old guy.
